This is my 3rd Miata. I keep buying something else... then coming back to a Miata. Is it my spirit animal? Yeah, kinda.
    • 30 years driving and still going strong. STILL FU

I've had my red MX-5 since day one. Used as a daily driver for 30 years. Still not wanting to get rid of it. Maintenance minimal, gas mileage still good at 25 mpg ( a little higher on the highway for longer runs) Still get compliments, most not believing when I tell them the age. As a single person, I always keep a second vehicle for winter use. Miata is not good for snow/ice conditions. Also, always keep a truck for the larger hauling projects (that's the second vehicle). Love my Miata. Though a daily driver, still only has 120k after 30 years driving. Can't imagine a vehicle that is that much fun for that long for the money.
